Cincinnati Zoo Festival of Lights

Tony & Jack looking at the giraffes

Pink flamingos!

They thought this was too cool

Audrey and the Gingerbread Man.  Jack had nothing to do with him.

Their favorite exhibit was the insects

Lots and lots of lights

More lights!

We have been wanting to take the kids to the zoo for a long time, but kept putting it off until now.  So, since we had the 4-day weekend over Thanksgiving, we decided to go on Black Friday instead of going shopping.  The weather was absolutely perfect!  It was packed, but we got there early, found a place to park right next to the entrance, and really enjoyed ourselves.  It was really beautifully decorated with over 2 million lights!  They had a petting zoo where the kids got to feed the goats and sheep, ate some Christmas cookies, and got to pet a huge bug called a Thorny Devil.  I'm so glad we finally got to go and we hope to get to go in the spring again when more of the animals will be out and about.
