Christmas wasn't the same this year because Audrey was sick with fever from Thursday the 22nd until Tuesday the 27th. She stayed home with Tony Christmas Eve while Jack and I went to Papaw's. Christmas morning she had almost a 102 fever. But that didn't stop her from enjoying her gifts from Santa. She felt a little better later in the morning so we still went to Nana's. We had Christmas on Tuesday night at Lucas & Lesley's, and Thursday night with Tony's side of the family. Last night, Audrey got an upset stomach and threw up, but it quickly passed and she ate 5 breadsticks from Little Caesar's right after she got sick! Thankfully, we were still able to go to the UK/Louisville basketball game today, dinner at a new Mexican Restaurant, and a stop by Sam's on the way home. Tony's parents kept the kids all day, and they enjoyed themselves. We are all truly blessed, even though these past 2 weeks weren't what we had planned. I do know things could have been much worse, and only make me realize not to take health for granted. I hope each of you have a Happy New Year 2012!
